TAMPA BAY TRAFFIC BLOG: Speeding Leads To Tragic Traffic Accident In Tampa

The Hillsborough County Sheriff Office reported a car crash early Tuesday morning that has cost a 59-year-old man his life. As reported on the St. Petersburg Times website, Juan-Patino-Grajales died at the scene of the accident which took place on Memorial Highway. Two other men were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not listed as life-threatening.
According to police reports a 1999 Ford Explorer with three people inside was speeding when it came up on a car in the left lane. The Explorer went to pass on the right side and lost control. The car flipped over and crossed the median. Grajales was a passenger in the car and was sitting in the front seat.
