A Jacksonville teenager is facing nine criminal charges following a traffic accident that killed four of his friends. Hodges, the 15-year-old driver, turned himself in to police and was held overnight in a juvenile detention center. He is facing eight felony charges and one misdemeanor charge including driving without a license, causing death; driving without a license, causing injury; and careless driving. The case will be tried in juvenile court according to the State’s Attorney but Hodges’ lawyer claims if it wasn’t for his client’s age there would never have been charges filed.
